This blog is dedicated to a close friend of mine, that passed away on Saturday at 4pm. Just turning 14 years old on Thursday 26th of June, Cameron Wilson passed in the hospital in Auckland, New Zealand; With his best friend and band mate Lachie or Lachlan, at his side.
Cameron Wilson was diagnosed with Sarcoma, Cancer of the muscles nerves and connective tissues when he was just 6 years of age. Both his parents being brain surgeons and specializing in Brain Tumors and cancer, were helpless, for their only son had the one cancer with no cure.
He battled this cancer all the way to 14 years of age, going through tough and easy periods. Overall he had a normal school life and many friends, I happen to be one of them. But sadly Cameron’s condition started declining in early 2008. In early May, he was flown to Canada for special treatment but in June he was flown back to Auckland, for they knew there was nothing else to do, but to keep him comfortable. Sunday morning, 9am I received a message from mine and Cameron’s old classmate, Sophie Gillies, stating that Cameron was no longer with us. Cameron was a talented guitarist in a successful school rock band. He will be missed by all who knew him and will never be forgotten. This day has been hard for me, this week will also be tough with Exams and Naomi and Charlotte leaving as well.

Shannon Lea, i'm what they call a 'loner'. My names simple, but i'm the complete opposite. You'll find me miserable one moment, and hyper the next, deal with it. 13. I'll start screaming LITTLE GREEN MEN! when and where i want. There are 5 things that make me happier than you, Horse Riding, Photography, Singing, Writing and My Friends. If you read my poetry, or my stories, you'll realise who i am. Linus, Mitch, Jenny, Maddy, Daria and Teo; are the only reasons i wake up every morning.
Linus Tarvainen Keskisimonen,
try to proununce that huh? :]
But well, my name is just like me. Tricky, but as well sweet in it's own way. I'm also known as Tiny, Strawberry or, of course, Mr. Sunshine. Turning 16 the 13th of July. Photography is my life, as well as writing. I love making a effort and put my feelings into my own piece of art, and I also enjoy those small, but sweet things in life. That's what makes it worth livivng.
